• Device identifiers beyond what Apple requires for App Store functionality

2. How Cozy Works

Cozy operates entirely on your local Mac:

• Theme Storage: All wallpapers and folder icons are included in the app and stored locally on your device
• Local Processing: Theme application happens entirely on your Mac
• Offline Capability: Cozy works completely offline after installation
• No Personal Servers: We don't operate servers that collect or process your personal data

3. Apple App Store & Purchases

When you purchase themes or subscribe to Cozy:

• All transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store
• We never see or have access to your payment information
• Apple's privacy policy governs all transaction data
• Purchase and subscription status is verified locally on your device through Apple's StoreKit framework

4. Permissions We Request

Cozy requests the following system permissions solely for core functionality:

• Desktop Folder Access: Required to apply custom folder icons to your Desktop folders
• Wallpaper Setting: Required to set desktop wallpapers

These permissions are used exclusively for the app's intended purpose and do not enable any data collection.

5. Data Storage

All data remains on your Mac:

• Theme files are included in the app bundle
• User preferences are saved using standard macOS UserDefaults
• Desktop access bookmarks are stored securely in your app sandbox
• No cloud syncing or remote data transmission occurs

6. Network Connections

Cozy connects to the internet for the following purpose only:

• Purchase Verification: Apple's App Store servers verify your purchase and subscription status

Cozy does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

7. Children's Privacy

Cozy does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is designed to be privacy-safe for users of all ages.

8. Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to access, modify, or delete. You maintain complete control over your Cozy experience through:

• Your Mac's System Settings for permissions
• The app's preferences for customization
• Apple's App Store for purchase and subscription management
